Hi friends and supporters. I pray that this Armor Up update finds all of you happy, full of joy, and overflowing with peace. I hope you all are enjoying all this cool weather. I am believing in great things for 2025. REVIVAL and BREAKTHROUGH. Thank you Jesus God is moving mightily in America.

Word of the Year
Each year we gather all the women in Freedom House and Victory House and some of our graduates and friends to choose a word and a scripture they believe the Lord is speaking to them for the upcoming year. We sit together, listen to worship music, and paint, draw, and create. It is beautiful to see all of the creativity come out of each woman. We get to laugh and celebrate all that God has done in us over the past years and share our hopes and excitement for 2025! Thank you to everyone who came out. I am praying God’s favor over you in the new year!

Goal Sheets
Had an amazing time making our goal boards for 2025 with all of the women at Freedom and Victory House and so many of the women who are a part of ARMOR UP! Speaking life over our real vision and goals for the year. We go over them with each other, pray, and stand in agreement with each other and it helps us encourage each other and spur one another on towards our goals. Setting our intentions in the areas of family, fitness, fun, field & finances, faith, and friends and our goals, vision, and our well-laid plan of how we can attain this is so powerful and I love speaking life into 2025! Watching the creativity come out and all of you women is so fun and inspiring. Thank you to all who came. I’m believing great victory in 2025 for each and every one of you!!!!! So proud of all of you girls!
Overdose Awareness at Reiter Park
Overdose awareness event at Reiter Park in Longwood. Thank you Michelle Smith for all your hard work. Thank you to Matt Morgan and Sheriff Lemma for graciously recognizing Armor Up, what an honor. We had all of the Freedom and Victory House women be a part of Overdose Awareness Day at Reiter Park and I am so grateful for all your hearts for recovery and this ministry. You were such a light to so many that healing and recovery is possible. The encouragement you spread was beautiful. Every year we come out to hear the stories and testimonies of all who loved and lost a friend, child, or loved one to this disease of addiction. We value events like these as they keep fresh in our minds that this could have been any one of us. By the grace of God, we are miracles and overcomers today by the word of our testimony and we hope by sharing our stories of the power of healing through God and recovery that we can pass it on to those still sick and suffering and the families of those who are still sick and suffering
Eagle Scout Service Project
We are very grateful to Eagle Scout Troop 38 in Altamonte Springs, FL (St. Mary Magdalen Church) for choosing Armor Up as their service project. Eagle Scout Connor Dunn came out and did beautiful work in the backyard of Victory House. They built us a wooden cross that is cemented into the ground to be there for years to come, a prayer bench, and they upgraded our garden! We are so grateful to the Eagle Scouts for considering Armor Up as their service project. This cross will be a lasting memory for all the women who are here and are to come. We are going to have each woman sign their name and the year they came to Armor Up. This cross will be an ever-present reminder that through the wind, rain, and storms our Lord is our firm foundation, he never leaves us or forsakes us, and we can count on him to hold us up in the darkest of times.
Brianas Testimony
Our beautiful Briana of Victory House gave her testimony at Celebrate Recovery at Northland Church this past Friday. It was powerful! Briana, you have such a gift with your words. You told your story beautifully of how our Lord brought you out of your darkness and despair. We are so incredibly proud of you and all the work God has done in your life. Thank you for sharing your experience, strength, and hope with us. God bless you, Briana.
Birthdays
We want to wish a great big Happy Birthday to two of our new women Elizabeth and Donna. There is no mistake that you are here at Armor Up for such a time as this. We thank God for the gift of both your lives and we can not wait to see all he is going to do in and through you both. We pray God’s blessings and favor over you both in this new year of your lives!
Baptisms
We had a beautiful experience on Sunday, January 19th at Journey Church for baptisms. We got the opportunity to see the impact recovery has on not only those in recovery but their friends and family. Our very own Iliana who has been at Freedom House for almost 2 years got to witness the baptism of her mom who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and her best friend since high school. When we dedicate our lives to the Lord and begin to grow and change those around us have no choice but to recognize the light we become. What a testament to how recovery effects the whole family

Joe Nester and SYL Noise Concert
Me and some of the girls had an awesome time slaying some demons in WARship at UCF with one of our favorite bands JOE NESTER and SYL and an amazing newer band WE LOVED called REDEMPTION. He was down here playing from Tennessee. In recovery with a heckuva testimony it was so good.!
