Hi friends and supporters! Happy Spring! Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, and the weather is just perfect. I am praying that this Armor Up update finds all of you happy, full of joy, and overflowing with peace.

Its been an eventful couple of months. God continues to work in the women in Freedom and Victory house. There is great transformation and restoration happening on a daily basis. So grateful to be on this recovery journey with all of these women. We have a new addition to our nonprofit Armor Up. Leigh Minter is now on our board as outreach specialist. And what a blessing she is to all of us. Helen Bruso, Rhonda Marret, Rachel Paul, and Leigh Minter all continue t be such a blessing to Armor Up’s nonprofit board. Thanks to each and every one of you for all that you do. We are now seeking out a media specialist and someone gifted in fundraising and grants as God continues to grow this ministry. Beauty Night
Thank you to the Krissy Thorton and her amazing team Jamie and Ruthie from Ashes to Beauty who came and did facials and haircuts, and thank you to Natasha Martinez at Oh La La brow bar and waxing studio for the beautiful newly waxed eyebrows. Our women from Freedom and Victory houses felt pampered priceless and so special and beautiful! Your team was so generous, professional, and fun! What a blessing! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts! May God bless you overflowing for giving us your talent time and treasure.
Frankie’s Wedding
I am so honored and grateful God saw fit to bless me so I could get my ordained minister license and officiate my first wedding! And of course it had to be my Francesca Mallamaci! My girl Frankie…. congratulations Mrs. Francesca Henderson. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for inspiring me to get licensed so that God would allow me to officiate this beautiful wedding. It was awesome! So beautiful! I’m so happy for you and I pray God‘s blessings and favor over your life with John. You’ve come a long way baby! What a ride the last 7 years have been. Congratulations, love you always.
Outreach Project
We painted inspirational stones at Victory House and went and distributed them all over town. Our children and grandchildren got to help paint and give out the stones and it was beautiful watching them be so happy to spread light to others through encouraging messages. We also got to minster, pray, and encourage many homeless people along the way.

What an amazing Day out at Lake Eola with Armor Up’s homeless backpack outreach. Thank you to everyone who donated to support this incredible opportunity to go be the hands and feet of Jesus discipling and loving on our own hurting people in Orlando! Thank you LORD for the honor of getting to go with all of these willing women and men in recovery and their families to love and reach and give to your lost children! By the grace of God we were saved and now we can go and be a light to the hurting world many who are still deep deep in their addiction. Some who fought in the war for our country and just have never been the same sense. Many many tears were shed. Tears of sadness . Tears of hope and joy also. We weep and our hearts hurt for these people. We pray to you God for complete healing for every person that we talked to Lord. We stand together and believe and declare and decree chains of addiction broken and destroyed over each and every life that we talked to! We are standing in agreement and believing in freedom and lives changed in view of your mercy and grace over these people Lord. We pray for divine connections to you and salvation for each and every person we got to give a backpack to and minister. to. What a beautiful day it was to be able to give back what God has so freely given to us! by the grace of God we have been saved and we will spend the rest of our lives trying to help others out of the pits of hell and despair and addiction! our mess is our message! God did not waste a hurt not one …..it’s all being used for his glory and the saving of many lives! I believe each and every one of us that went out to bless your people Lord …I believe we came back way more blessed and on fire for you Lord! Thank you for the gift of desperation that brought us to our knees so that your power could rest on us and we can now go and be your light and truth and share it with your people Lord! we are ready to do it again Lord …here we are. Send us Lord! I love you so much and thank you for saving us!
Seder Dinner
Passover Seder dinner….. we were blessed to attend this Passover Seder dinner it was incredible literally breaking bread with our beautiful tribe…. Love you all! This was an incredible meaningful celebration We were invited to partake in Thursday Eve as the disciples did in the last supper ….With our LORD….. thank you to pastor John Bishop Jayson Corte and Foundry church for this beautiful memorable dinner! The first of many!
Baptism
One of our women Sharon got baptized yesterday at journey church, congratulations! It was a beautiful moment, and we are so happy to have been there to support her as she takes this step in her spiritual journey. We always continue to support and be a part of the lives of our women and their families post graduation, we love to see them thrive.
