Hi friends and supporters. I pray that this Armor Up update finds all of you happy, full of joy, and overflowing with peace.

A lot of you and a lot of us and the world are going through difficult times together. But united we stand, divided we fall. May we just stand together in unity as we fight the good fight of faith and try to be the light in this world to all.
God continues to work in the women in Victory and Freedom houses. There is great restoration and transformation happening every day. I stay very grateful to be on this recovery journey with all of these women. Thanks to each and every one of you for all that you do.
Baptisms at the Beach
On June 27th, 2024, our group (Motley Crew) of women, their families, and friends all gathered on Bethune Beach to take part in an incredibly moving and Holy Spirit-filled beach baptisms where I (Angella) had the honor of baptizing 7 very special people. God’s number of completion. This day was so special and anointed in many ways! The HOLY SPIRIT WAS ALL OVER US!!! This was a day of spiritual rebirth, drowning of the flesh and sin, and a resurrection of the new life in each of these women and men baptized!!! A public declaration of a new inner faith!!! LIVES were forever changed this day.
Just as God would have it we had another miracle story this year! During our baptisms, we were approached by a man named Dustin. Little did we know that Dustin and his family were amid some trials and having a rough day. Having accidentally left most of their beach supplies behind, but still looking to make the most of the day Dustin lay in the sand and began to burry himself as if to cover up everything he was feeling when he heard someone from just a few yards over say, “Is there anyone else who would like to get baptized?” He knew that baptism was the exact thing he needed in that moment and I had the pleasure and honor of baptizing him with his wife and son there as witnesses.
We even had the pleasure to welcome back our friend Joan who we met and had the honor of baptizing last year! If you have not read the story from last year and watched the video, you have to go back and look at it! It is just amazing. She brought her son with her and spent some time with us fellowshipping and dodging the elements. It was such a joy to see you again Joan. We hope to see you again next year!
We also had the wonderful privilege of celebrating the life of Sandie our beautiful graduate. I am so incredibly proud of you and everything you are doing. You are truly another one of our miracles stories. I love you and God bless you.
I would go through every single hurt pain and tragedy in my life again just for moments and days like this to love God’s people …..his broken and hurting people and to spread his love!!! so very beautiful! so blessed to be a part of all that God is doing!!!

Jamie’s One Year & Frankie’s Two Years
Congratulations Jamie on your 1 year of sobriety! I am so very proud of you. God has done amazing things in you and I can’t wait to see all that he’s gonna do in your life. You are such a light and a joy and I’m so grateful that you came to us. I love you so much. God bless you!
Congratulations to Frankie for 2 years of sobriety! God is growing you more and more each and every day. I am so grateful to have been able to walk this walk with you for the past nine years. What a journey it has been. I believe in great victory in your life and God has amazing things in store for you. I love you always.
Island H20
We had an awesome day with Leigh, Honore, Iliana, Helen and her kids, and my grandson out at Island H20 Water Park to participate in their duck race in support of pathway homes and spend some time in the water and under the sun. It is always so great to get out and have a fun time with some good friends.
CR at Northland 4th of July Picnic
Thank you, CR at Northland for another incredible Independence Day Celebration! I am grateful to have been a part of this beautiful celebration for 12 years now. I love our picnic and all the games we play, and the food is incredible. I love making memories with my family my friends and the women from the houses. Thank you to all of the girls who helped with our games! Thank you so much to Michael Cramer for coming and being our awesome DJ.
4th of July at Victory House
We had an incredible time this 4th of July celebrating at Victory House with all of the girls, and some of their families. We also had some graduates and dear friends of ARMOR UP! Every year we get to come together and eat awesome food, play board games and corn hole, and light lots and lots of fireworks! I know for some of you women this was the first Fourth of July you’ve celebrated, enjoyed, and had clean, sober, fun and are feeling great today and we remember it all! This is why we do this! Thank you to all who cooked and all who came and loved and laughed with us! We made some wonderful memories together that I will cherish forever. God bless you all who were a part of our beautiful Independence Day celebration 2024! I love you!
Florida Family Summit
DEA Fentanyl Overdose Awareness at Westgate Lakes
I am so grateful for our friends over at the DEA especially our very own board member Helen for inviting me and some of the women to the Florida Family Summit. I never take for granted the opportunities I get to support those who have been effected by the fentanyl poisonings and overdoses going on in our world. I will remember every parent I hugged and cried with. This is why we do exactly what we do here at Armor Up. We are active in the overdose community to remind ourselves of what we came from and the miracle that our lives are and to share hope that recovery is possible and change is coming.
June & July Birthdays
I am so honored and blessed to have the opportunity to celebrate the gift of the lives of so many women in the months of June and July. We got to celebrate the miracle of Courtney F., Briana, both of our incredible house moms Sharell and Frankie, and our beautiful graduate Sandie. Each and every one of you ladies are an absolute miracle. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to watch and be a part of all that God has done in each of your lives.
